The day when school will become history

With all the advancement on telecommunication and with all the social networking that is blooming on the net, I often ask myself: are school days approaching their end? Will school become an unnecessary institute and so a part of history. When technology is advancing so rapidly, is it not logical to assume that soon virtual classes will replace school  institutions? Think how much money

The virtual classroom will replace the traditional classroom at school

will be saved. Today countries invest hugh amount of resources to maintain a national network of schools.

Now those who might object the inevitabilty of the demise of school will say that schools have added social  benefits besides academic issues. Well, the thing is that today’s children run most of their social lives via the Internet ( for example facebook), so even the social aspect is taken away from the traditional school.

All in all, if you ask me, the 21st century will witness the demise of the traditional school
