Health Craze

The health craze seems to be reaching new peaks every day. Everywhere I go, I see people exercising. The funniest thing of all arehealth craze those groups of middle aged man with a paunch (from years of drinking bear and eating snacks in front of the TV) using thousands of dollars-worth equipment riding their bicycle on the side of the road.

There is nothing wrong in getting in shape. Yet this fitness trend must be treated with caution. There are many charlatans out there who will sell you a magic diet plan with promises of quickly losing weight and looking like Brad Pitt. People should exercise sound judgment and consult fitness experts or at least go to a reliable website that offers proper workout plan. We have to remember that there are no quick solutions and getting in shape requires hard work and determination.

First of all, as every expert will tell you, exercising on the weekends is nice but far from being sufficient. You must build a workout program that includes at least 4 days on which you will be physically active.

Second, eat less. Remove from your daily menu all the fast food, sugary products and snacks. Replace them with healthy food and dietary supplements (approved by the FDA).

Finally and most importantly, eat orderly 3 times a day at fixed hours. Never eat till you feel full. Remember that hunger goes away around 15 minutes after you finish eating, so you have to be patient and not eat till you can’t move. I would recommend not eating after 6 in the evening. Furthermore turn dinner into supper; that is to say, eat light. Turn lunch into the main meal of the day.
